VATTEA

VATTEA was born in Medellín, Colombia, from the union of Laura and Ana María Maya Silva, two sisters who, after finishing their careers in jewelry production and industrial design respectively, decided to create their jewelry brand in 2016.

They make each piece with great detail and care in manual processes, the work with hand-sewn and starched threads is the result of a research process with natural starches that has managed to obtain impeccable manufacturing.

THE PROCESS

The materials used to make VATTEA's base material are bronze, cotton thread and 24-carat gold. Each piece is given a texture or polished to give this rustic effect that is seen in our jewelry, then each piece is bathed in 24-carat gold. Cotton thread is another of the materials that characterizes us, it goes through processes such as hand sewing and then starching with natural starches. Our result is impeccable pieces with great artisan value
